ABOUT THE COUPE PONTIAC GMC CUP
Geared towards the development of Canada's future champions, the 2007/08 Coupe Pontiac GMC Cup series features 16 races in four provinces. The series culminates with the 2008 Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships in Whistler, BC from February 9th to February 12th for the speed disciplines as well as the Quebec City, QC area from March 20th to March 23rd for the technical disciplines. As a successful developmental ski program sanctioned by Alpine Canada Alpin and the International Ski Federation (FIS), the Coupe Pontiac GMC Cup provides amateur skiers with essential competitive experience. Many Coupe Pontiac GMC Cup winners and competitors have gone on to become members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team.
